The logo is the Big Sticker: a calm two-dot face with a rose heart sticker
Context
Zach liked the idea of using Baymax as the icon, because Baymax is a health robot and the face is what matters. The marks are original geometry, with no Disney silhouette or artwork, so the work was to find a mark with the same calm. Four rounds of ten to twenty marks each narrowed it, with the same face in every mark and every health state.
The decision
The final logo is r3-01, the Big Sticker: a white head with a calm two-dot face and a big rose heart sticker tilted over its lower-right corner. Health shows only through the heart: full for OK, half for a warning, broken for an error, dotted for stale. It is the dock icon and the tray icon, with the heart coloured by status (rose, amber, red, grey). In the top bar only the heart takes colour.
Round 4 tried ten variants that each changed one design axis. None of them was adopted.

Rose (#f483a5) was chosen for the heart because it sits at least 14 (CIE ΔE 2000) away from every one of the 29 error reds the app's skins set, so it reads as a heart and never as an error. A coral heart was 3.2 away from one of them.
Consequences
- The symbolic mark and its warn, error and stale states are drawn as PNGs for the tray, because GNOME recolours a symbolic icon to the panel text colour.
- This site's favicon and header mark are the same Big Sticker.
